Modern Valentine symbols include the heart-shaped, including a card and a picture of a Cupido (English: cupid) winged. According to the tradition of ancient Rome, mid-February was already known as a period of love and fertility. In ancient Athens calendar dates, the period between mid-January to mid-February as moons Gamelion, dedicated to the sacred marriage of Zeus and Hera.

In ancient Rome, February 15, known as the Feast of Lupercalia, which refers to the name of a god named Lupercus, the god of fertility. God is depicted as a man half naked and dressed in goat skins.
In ancient Roman times, the pastors of each February 14 will perform the ritual worship of the god Lupercus the form of a goat sacrifice to the god. After that they drink wine and would run through the streets of the city of Rome, carrying pieces of sheepskin and touching anyone they meet. The young women will scramble to touch the goat skin because they believed that the touch of goat skin will be able to bring fertility to them. Something very proud in Rome at that time. The celebration of Lupercalia was a series of purification ceremonies in ancient Roman times that take place from February 13 to 18, where on February 15 peak.

The first two days (February 13 to 14), dedicated to the goddess of love (Queen of Feverish Love) named Juno Februata, on this day the youth gathered and draw the names of the girl in a box. Then every youth are welcome take names at random. The girl whose name out should be his girlfriend for a full year to have fun and become the object of the youth entertainment selection.
The next day, February 15, they are to the temple to ask for protection from interference wolf god Lupercalia. During this ceremony, the young man whipped girls with animal skins. The perempuann was scrambling up to get crack because it considers that more and more gets crack then they will grow beautiful and fertile.

In order to get closer again to Christianity, in 496 AD Pope Gelasius I made this ancient Roman rite into Day Celebration Church by the name of Saint Valentine’s Day in honor of Saint Valentine who incidentally died on 14 February. About who the real St. Valentine himself, historians still disagree. Currently there are at least three names Valentine, who died on 14 February.
The Cupid (meaning: the desire), the baby or handsome half-naked man with a winged arrow is the son of Nimrod “the hunter” Sun god. God Called Love, because he was so handsome that hunted many women are even told that his own mother was keen to commit incest with his biological child it!
How the words “Be My Valentine?”, which is still only available in many greeting cards or otherwise directly by their respective spouses? Ken Sweiger says the word “Valentine” is derived from the Latin that have similarities with the meaning: “The Mighty, the All-Powerful, and the Almighty”. This word actually in ancient Roman times addressed to Nimrod and Lupercus, god of the Romans.
Knowingly or not, so Sweiger, if someone asks another person or their partner becomes “To be my Valentine?”, Then with it we actually have openly commit an act of God’s wrath, the term Sweiger, because asking someone to be “The Most power “and it is tantamount to an attempt to revive the culture of worshiping idols.

In today Valetine Day made special day and called “Valentine’s Day”. Whether it’s children, adolescents, youth or adults of all levels of society, schools, government agencies, private even the church there is also a celebration.
Towards the special day is usually a lot of shops displaying dolls, ornaments or gifts associated with the celebration of Valentine’s Day, even the sale of gift packages along with contraceptives are sold as a package with chocolate bars with a heart-shaped pink color, ironically the most widely purchased all it is the children who are still in school who do not understand what the Valentine celebration.

Deception by Satan seems to run run smoothly because people do not understand what it means to ‘love’ it. In Greek there are four words that mean the same-the same love, but in a different scope;
1. noun στοργη – storge with the verb STERGEIN means the affection of parents to their children and vice versa.
2. The word EROS from the Greek word, which we translate EROS, meaning the love affair between men and women which contains lust.
3. Nouns φιλεω – phileÇ with the verb φιλειν – PHILEIN means of genuine affection between close friends. Usually this love has no blood relation. Love is more to the friendship.
4. Nouns αγαπαω – agapao with the verb αγαπαν – agapan, which we translate AGAPE, means love without calculation and without caring what kind of person she loved. Often referred to as the love that though.

In Matthew 5:44;
ITB: But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.
KJV: But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them the which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
GNT: Εγὼ δὲ λέγω ὑμῖν, ἀγαπᾶτε τοὺς ἐχθροὺς ὑμῶν, εὐλογεῖτε τούς καταρωμένους ὑμᾶς, καλῶς ποιεῖτε τοῖς μισοῦσιν ὑμᾶς καὶ προσεύχεσθε ὑπὲρ τῶν ἐπηρεαζόντων ὑμᾶς καὶ διωκόντων ὑμᾶς,
In this verse, the Lord Jesus gave us the command to love our enemies with love agapate which is the root word of AGAPE / agapao. If God gives such an order, should we as human beings capable of agape love our neighbor, in this verse in particular, to our enemies. Means that humans are capable of agape love of neighbor, even to our enemies.

While the celebration of Valentine’s Day is often the love that leads to unbridled love of Eros and used by the devil to deceive the children of God who in a drunken affair which resulted in premarital sex. God’s agape love in Joh 3:16 to show love without calculation (unconditional love) to us.
