thanksgiving-gods-goodness_20111102The word “thank you” is an important word, but is often overlooked in our lives. Remember when you were little, we were taught by our parents to say thank you. In this section also, we wanted to see what it means to give thanks, give thanks to the Lord.
On the way to Jerusalem, Jesus was passing along between Samaria and Galilee.
When he entered a village, ten lepers met him. They stood at a distance and shouted: “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”
Then he looked at them and said: “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And while they went, they were cleansed. One of them, when he saw he was healed, turned back, praising God with a loud voice, and fell at Jesus’ feet and thanked him. That man was a Samaritan.
Then Jesus said: “Were there not ten cleansed everything has become? Where are the nine? Are there not among those who returned to glory to God except this foreigner? “And He said to him:” Stand up and go, your faith has made you whole. “(Luke 17:11-19)

Thankful does not mean looking at the evidence that we have experienced in this life, more grateful than see what we have experienced, and felt the grace of God should not we deserve, but we have received it.
Thankful is a person who can see to yourself, a sinner who should perish in hell, but now our sins have been forgiven and have eternal life. Are also grateful hearts rejoice understand the grace of God for our lives, not the other way looked grouchy and moody all the problems of life with and without hope.

Are grateful heart that is surrendered to God. Our lives belong to God completely. Our walk with God in this life. Although we experienced a lot of life issues, but we believe that God will help us.
Thankful is always looking to God when we are experiencing the problems of life. Instead of complaining, accusing or angry with God, above what we have experienced. But learn the humility to understand God’s purpose behind the problem.
Thankful practiced is not easy, as easy as what is written or spoken, but is grateful for the learning process in our lives. How often do we give thanks, compared with how much we are angry, dissatisfied, complaining and so forth. Not only that, how often do we thank God when we enjoy the blessings of God?
When a leper back and fell at the feet of Jesus with thanksgiving, he not only cured but also saved through thanksgiving speech. Let us learn to give thanks to God for the gift we have received, before the Lord ‘ask’ us to thank Him.

Ephesians 5:18-21 says: “And do not be drunk with wine, causing dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit, and Speak, to one another in psalms, hymns of praise and hymns. Singing and making melody to the Lord with all your heart. Giving thanks always for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God the Father and Humble yourselves one to another in the fear of Christ. ”

How small or how big the things that we enjoy in this life, is a blessing poured out and was taken from the hand of God. This is why thanksgiving is an important element of our lives. Thanksgiving only comes when we feel we do not deserve it but we got it too.
Throughout the Bible we are told that the true relationship of the believer to God, and that pleases him is to give thanks in all things: “In everything give thanks for this is the will of God” (1 Thess 5:18).
We are reminded to accept all things in life with gratitude, be aware that we do not have it, it is a blessing from God. Even if it is painful, there is a wise Father who choose it for us, and will give us the advantage of abundance. we can be grateful for the pain and also for fun: it is a lesson of life with God.
