The secret of God’s call
Human life is full of many mysteries, from the birth, life, and death often do not understand what God created for us. Some people there are born from a life filled with abundant material and some are born in life is always full of flaws.
There is also born of a devout Christian family life and the faithful, on the contrary there are also born into a family life that does not yet know the Lord. So from birth, life (growth) and death, become a mystery throughout life.
But the Bible tells of a secret call of God in human life, is told in Genesis 12:1-3; LORD said to Abram: “Go from your land and from your relatives and from your father’s household to the land that I will show thee: and I will make thee a great nation, and bless thee and make thy name famous, and thou shalt be a blessing.
I will bless those who bless thee, and curse those who curse you, and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. ”
If we study this biblical figure, Abraham came from Ur of the Chaldees in southern Mesopotamia; called to enter the land of Canaan, where God entered into an agreement with him. Together with Isaac and Jacob, he was recognized as the ancestor of Israel (Genesis 12:25). In the New Testament is recognized as the father of “all believers” (Romans 4:11).
known as Abram; ancestral forerunner of Israel. His life story is portrayed in Genesis 11-25 may occur around 2000-1500 BC, but in the stories of Abraham is an individual merchants of the area * Heth, typical of people who migrate from rural civilization * Ur to Palestine. * Abraham was born in Ur of the Chaldees, where he lived with his father, Terah, and his brother, Nahor and Haran, also his nephew, Lot.
Abraham lived in the midst of a pagan family as told Joshua in Joshua 24:2-3, Joshua said to all the people, “Thus says the Lord God of Israel: Long ago on the side of the river Euphrates, that’s where the rest of your fathers, that Terah, Abraham’s father and the father of Nahor, and they worship other gods. But I took Abraham, your father was, from beyond the River, and told him to explore the whole land of Canaan. I made a lot of his descendants and gave him Isaac.
It is clear here that Abraham was born of a family life that is still worshiped idols and God’s call was not from a life where she was born, but from which God was pleased to that person.
The first God will call us out of the bond world, tradition or our sins. Life of the world around us without our conscious often trap even plunges us to leave God much deeper, sometimes ancestral traditions that do not correspond to the truth of the Bible, we still maintain some have already legalize it in the Church so that the bumpy roll tradition of tolerance will faith we believe the truth of the Bible.
Abraham with great courage and trust fully in God left the community of extended family to go to God’s call. It is not easy to abandon the tradition of our large family or just simply to faith as a mustard seed, but that’s what God wants in our lives.
Because the second we were called to receive a blessing when we get out of the bond world, tradition, or sin. In Genesis 12:2, Abraham will receive three great blessings of magnitude, namely: a great nation, fame and become a blessing to the nations.
Talking about the blessings of a great nation is talking about the success of the human being the leader of other men, each of us want success in life, when we were in the way God meant us to walk while receiving success.
Talk about the glory and fame, after the success we achieve in the glory of the Lord God will illuminate our lives, other people will feel a tremendous because our relationship with God is very special, then we will begin to be a blessing to many nations, a blessing is to live filled with an abundance of like Father Abraham.
To reach the blessings that God has given to Abraham is not easy, sometimes test the ability of God, our faith, we believe that barely make sense of our minds.
Sarah, Abraham’s wife for 25 years waiting for good news about the birth of his son at God’s promise, Genesis 21:5 says: “Now Abraham was a hundred years, when his son Isaac, born to him.” And the age at the time Sarah was ninety-one years old when she gave birth to Isaac, Sarah said, “God has made me laugh, everyone who hears will laugh with me.” And he said: “Who was to say to Abraham: Sara nurse children? Yet I have borne a son to him in his old age.”
Let us patiently wait God’s time for us, He calls us to come out of the bond world and traditions or our sins to receive the blessing that is success, glory, a life of abundance and eternal salvation. God just wants us to believe it when he calls us because He is God the Just and Faithful.
