Drifting left Him

“Therefore we must thoroughly consider what we have heard, so that we do not drift away. For if the word is said with the mediation of the angels remain in force, and every violation and disobedience received penalty, how shall we escape, if we waste the great salvation … …. “(Hebrews 2:1-3).
This is a foul and shameful sin from the list of other sins, this sin has dropped thousands of people who believe in Christ who once was a follower of Christ but has been drifting left his spiritual life.
Some people might know who we are full of tender love, praise and worship God, faithful to come home to God and active in social activities and spirituality, but at present we know them as different people.
Every day they increasingly drifted away from what they once knew, left him and headed in the opposite direction. Most people who are drifting does not see himself as evil or are in danger. They feel that they have never changed and still interact with people who are around him, they feel God’s love in their own way but they avoid church meetings, they feel live honestly and work hard, they are usually good and helpful people.

But they did not see the danger in front and I never thought in their minds that they had left him.

All this does not happen overnight, but gradually, which eventually all teaching and experience with Jesus it never possessed only a vague memory of it, even seems to want to forget it.
It is like a man who was drifting in a boat on a river towards a waterfall. He pedaled slowly, while enjoying a Sunday afternoon on the water that the mind free to enjoy the natural surroundings and never thought of that danger is lurking ahead.

At the same time people who were around him shout from the riverbank: “stop! quickly paddles his boat to the edge … you’re in danger! act fast! “they even threw a rope rescue to help him. But the man with a smile saying: “Do not worry, I’m okay. There is no problem in front of me, everything’s all right! “
If our circumstances like those in the boat which was drifting then surely we temporarily carried away from him, no matter we think everything is OK or not, but we actually are in danger! We’re drifting toward the spiritual blindness and destruction.
Maybe we should look at that, the river of neglect is taking us as far as ever from the Lord. And the more we come downstream, the river becomes more rapid and more dangerous! We may not know, but there is a savage waterfall in front of us, a place where there are forces we can not control anymore, a place without turning points, which will end with the outbreak of the boat of our lives!

The Apostle Paul says in the Bible to the church at Ephesus: “Therefore I said and I reiterate this to you in the Lord: Do not live longer just as the people who do not know God with vain thoughts and understanding the dark, away from the life of with God, because of the ignorance that is in them and because of intractability of their hearts.

Feelings they have blunt, so they surrendered to the passions and work with all kinds of filth greedy. But you is not the case. You have learned to know Christ. Because you have heard of him and were taught in him in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus, that you connect with the life you are first, the old man, who met corrupted by passions that are misleading, that you be renewed in the spirit and mind, and wearing a new man, which has been created by the will of God in righteousness and true holiness. (Ephesians 4:17-24).

We as a people who believe in Christ and been saved by him do not let ourselves get carried away with proceedings cases and worldly interests. We must believe that God preserved us a while to wait for salvation that has been available and will be stated in the latter days. (1 Peter 1:5).
